1. Description of Service

Sesiona is a practice management platform for mental health professionals, available at sesiona.mx. The service includes Google Calendar-integrated scheduling, digital clinical records, client communication, therapeutic task assignment, emotional check-ins, and institutional coordination tools.

Sesiona is operated by Francisco Javier Pérez Bouquet Lazcano, based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico (hereinafter "Sesiona", "we", or "the Operator").

2. Account Types

Sesiona offers three account types:

• Therapist account — for mental health professionals managing their schedule, clients, and clinical records individually.
• Institutional account — for therapy centers, psychology schools, hospitals, or organizations coordinating multiple therapists, courses, and students.
• Client account — for individuals accessing the app linked to their therapist to view appointments, complete tasks, and submit emotional check-ins.

3. Registration and Account

• Access to Sesiona requires a valid Google account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities that occur under it.
• You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering.
• Therapists are responsible for complying with applicable professional regulations in their jurisdiction, including NOM-004-SSA3-2012 in Mexico.

4. Acceptable Use

By using Sesiona you agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Not share your account with unauthorized third parties.
• Not attempt to access other users' data without authorization.
• Not use the service for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
• Not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the platform's source code.
• Not intentionally overload the service infrastructure.

5. Plans and Pricing

Sesiona is currently available free of charge. Paid plans for individual therapists and institutions will be introduced in the future. When paid plans are implemented:

• Users will be notified at least 30 days in advance before any charges apply.
• Existing users will receive a free 30-day trial period before a subscription is required.
• Pricing and plan details will be published at sesiona.mx.
• Non-payment within the established period may result in suspension or limitation of account features.

6. Data Ownership

• Clinical data, records, and notes entered by the therapist are the exclusive property of the therapist.
• Client data belongs to the therapist who registered it, under their professional responsibility.
• Sesiona does not sell, share, or use clinical data for any purpose other than operating the service.
• Upon account closure, therapists may request a data export by contacting privacidad@sesiona.mx with 30 days' notice.

7. Google Calendar Integration

Connecting Google Calendar is optional and requires the therapist's explicit authorization. Access is used exclusively for the scheduling features described in the Privacy Policy. The therapist may revoke this access at any time from within the platform or from their Google account settings.

When a therapist links their account to an institution, they may independently grant or revoke the institution's access to their calendar at any time from their institution profile.

8. Service Availability

Sesiona strives to maintain continuous service availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance periods, updates, or interruptions beyond our control may occur. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Sesiona is not responsible for clinical decisions made by professionals using the platform.
• Sesiona does not warrant that the platform is suitable for any specific medical or clinical purpose.
• Sesiona's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or MXN $500 for free accounts.
• Sesiona shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

10. Intellectual Property

The name "Sesiona", the design, code, and platform content are the property of the Operator or its licensors. No license is granted over these elements beyond what is necessary to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

11. Suspension and Termination

Sesiona may suspend or cancel an account if:

• These Terms of Use are violated.
• Fraudulent use or illegal activity is detected.
• Payment for a contracted plan is not made (when applicable).

Users may cancel their account at any time by contacting hola@sesiona.mx.

12. Modifications to Terms

Sesiona may modify these Terms at any time. Substantial changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice by email or via a notice within the platform. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute arising from the use of Sesiona, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, waiving any other venue that may apply.
